5:45am; I woke Christian up to catch the 6:20am train to Penn. I gently picked him up and put him on his changing table. It truly melted my heart when he openned his eyes and immediately smiled from ear to ear.
6:00am; Left for the train station. As I packed everything up last night, all I had to do is get the baby changed and head for the station. Instead of putting Christian in his stroller, I opted for the peanut shell. I wasn't sure how long he would last in the shell, but he surprised me and happily sat in his shell for the whole ride into the city. Much to the commuters delight, he didn't make one peep the whole train ride in.
7:20am; Met up with Lindsay, Janine, Jordi, Janine and the kiddies and headed up to the show. When we got up there, we linked up with Michelle and her two kids; Devon (11y) and Reegan (11m).
The Justin Roberts performance was alot of fun. We were set up in the VIP area in front of the stage. It was carpeted so we were able to sit down and let the kiddies go crazy. Although he only sang one song, we had a great time. The weather was great and we went in with a great group of people.
Will post pics later...

First Shoes!!!
Christian's first pair of shoes arrived, via the brown truck, yesterday afternoon, and they are just as cute as they looked online. Here are a few pics;

He wasn't very happy in this next one. The bottoms of the shoes are still very slick, so he wasn't able to stand up in them. I plan on roughening them up a bit on the concrete before I put them on his again today. I think that will remedy the problem.

Pin cushion!
That is what I feel like right now.
Upon doctor's orders I went to the lab today to get my glucous, thyroid and progesterone checked out. I definitely will never get used to that sugar drink they give you in order to check how you break down the sugar. They give you 5 minutes to drink the whole bottle, and I definitely used every second of it. I really felt so sick forcing it down. Yuck. As a bonus, at my two hour bloodwork, the lab tech missed my vein and had to do it again. Uggggg!

Look who's standing...
Christian decided that this past weekend would be a good time as any to pull himself up to standing. I am so happy he decided to do this on a weekend so Rich could see as well. I was able to get the camera fast enough to take some pictures. They are a bit blurry, but I was very excited, so I can easily forgive myself such an offense.

Where has the time gone?
It's now August!!! My little baby will be one years old next month and I can't believe it has gone by as fast as it did. Christian is crawling all around the house and babbling to everything and everyone. He hasn't been able to pull himself up to standing yet, but I am really not worried about it. As of his 9 month checkup, he was 25lbs and 31.5 inches. Yes, he is a big boy, but very well proportioned and his doctor wasn't worried in the least.
It's been quite an adventure so far~!!!
